Situated between Vancouver’s Financial District and Stanley Park, Coal Harbour has become a highly sought-after urban residential area on the waterfront.
In addition to subdividing Coal Harbour’s original railway lands, Butler Sundvick has partnered with several Vancouver developers including Marathon, ASPAC, and Delta Land Development on various projects in the area.

Delta Lands Development restored Vancouver’s historic Hotel Georgia and added a 48-storey luxury residential building.
Butler Sundvick completed the Air Space Plan, separating commercial, hotel and residential spaces for the project, as well as the Strata Plans for the commercial and residential units.

Glenlyon Business Park is an office building development surrounded by green space in South Burnaby, BC. Known as a suburban office park, Glenlyon is flanked by parkland, the Fraser River, and a golf course.
Butler Sundvick completed the Subdivision Plan and Construction Layout for this unique business park development.

Butler Sundvick is proud to have contributed to the development of Vancouver’s Rapid Transit system, including the Millennium Line and the Canada Line. We completed the Statutory Right of Ways and Easement Plans for these transit routes.

This Ledingham McAllister development is located on the revitalized former railway lands of Brandt’s Creek Crossing near Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, BC.

Winner of the AIPC Award for World’s Best Convention Centre, the Vancouver Convention Centre is an outstanding development located on the waterfront in Coal Harbour.
For this unique project, Butler Sundvick set up a high accuracy geodetic network to provide control for the duration of the project. We worked closely with the City of Vancouver and PAVCO to complete the original Subdivision Plan while satisfying all design guidelines and requirements. We also completed the Gridline and Pile Layout, Lease Plans, and Water Lots.
